One of the Friends' goals is to improve the Lincoln Trail Homestead State Park and Memorial through facility and site enhancements, habitat restoration and historic preservation.  Since 2016, through the generosity of several hundreds of volunteers and grants, non-native invasive species have been removed or controlled, trees planted, a prairie established as well as native flowers planted.  Restoration Days are held at least 4 times a year.  If you would be interested in helping and meeting new friends, contact us.
