Ullrich Grant
With funds from the Ulrich Foundation, the Friends were able to improve the launch site as well as the parking lot at the top of the hill of the launch site.
-2 Sangamon River interpretive kiosks
-2 River access signs
-Gravel for the launch area and parking lot located at the lauch site
-Barrier blocks placed at the parking and launch site.

Native Plant Grant
Funds from a Native Plant Grant offered by The Central Chapter of the Illinois Native Plant Society provided funding for 219 wildflower plants to be planted throughout the park.
Decatur Audubon
With funds from the Decatur Audubon Society, the Friends have been able to make many changes in the park and the Lincoln Memorial Parkway.
-Gravel for culvert on River Access Trail
-Wood for new signs
-Donation for ICEF Challenge Grant
-Donation for benches to aid the Amenities Grant
-Grant for "tree island" signs
-Grant for IL Raptor Center program on Owls
